During the course of availing benefits from this tediously written literature, you may find certain spellings and pronunciation, which may need clarification. Alloh is the prime name of God, the Sole Creator and the Sole Sustainer of the universe. However, when it comes to its transliteration in English, many spellings have been used i.e. Allah, Allaah, Allāh, Allah and Alloh. Principally, in Arabic, one spelling is being recognized and used, so should be the case in its English transliteration too. Considering its pronunciation and Tajweed in Arabic, the most appropriate spelling is Alloh, an explanation about it, is important for the general understanding and those who care about this Majestic name of God and the religion Islam.
The Arab-Islamic word of Alloh (Allah) comes from Al and Ilah, meaning "The-God" in English contemplating Oneness of Almighty Alloh. In Arabic, the pronunciation of generally used spelling Allah in Tajweed is more like Alloh, thus in English it should have been written as Alloh. Alloh is the better term as it respects the grace of the word and its' Might in Arabic pronunciation (Tajweed). Since Allah has been comprehensively used in English translation for the English speaking population, this author does not negate the transliteration of Allah but / rather recommends; "Alloh" would be more appropriate and respectful in English pronunciation without any error in it but with a divine betterment. This author prefers to use Alloh instead of Allah because of its proximity in Arab-Islamic pronunciation (Tajweed) and its Majestic respect as a prime name of Almighty The-God.
From Adam (PBUH) to Muhammad (PBUH) no one used English language to write Allah or Alloh. The first translators used Allah without realizing that it would not be appropriate for the correct pronunciation in Arabic. When we write Arabic words in foreign languages i.e. English, the writing does not correspond to actual Arabic words. In Arabic, pronunciation of Alloh is same as God. With such a righteous pronunciation, Alloh is the rightly pronounced name as per Tajweed.
Ask an Arab Tajweed scholar, he would pronounce Alloh for a correct understanding. Compare against a non Arab Muslim, the difference would be prominent. Unfortunately, those who started writing Alloh as Allah were Arabs but with weak knowledge of English or Non Arabs with weak knowledge of Arabic pronunciation. That is why Jabal Al Tarique became Gibraltar, Mousa Bin Beg became Mozambique and Ma Man Ulloh became Manila, Qhaleefah became Caliph or khailfa and distortions go on even today.
Coming back to this book, efforts have been made to enrich it with the understanding from the word of God (The-Qur'an), the tradition of The Last Messenger Prophet Muhammad (PBUH – Ahadith), from companions of The Last Messenger Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and sayings of certain scholars of modern studies who have helped the advancement of humankind in technology. The changing circumstances in the world require many changes in the psychology and attitude among the people in order to live in peace within and with other communities. Giving respect to every human, attending the needs of every individual; right to food, right to shelter, right to equal justice, right to opportunities, right to health care and right to practice one’s own religion are some aspects where wisdom is most needed. In this book, an attempt has been made to remove the camouflage of doubts over the reality, which has been hidden from the understanding of common people in the past. Such human needs have strong support in Islam, which many in the past were not able to comprehend yet this book would provide witnesses, understanding healing of mind.
References have been allocated to certain well-known non-Islamic scholars too where commonalities of wise understanding could be seen for a common human strategy in understanding the process of healing and achieving the desired by a common human.
This book "Psychological Healing" covers twenty chapters filled with situations where humans succumb to challenging circumstances. By following the advice, the reader would fulfil its obligation of self counselling. A self healing desired by your Lord, a living admired by your fellow humans and satisfied by your own self of your fulfilment in life.
